The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's
weekly honor roll, in its 15th season of recognizing the top
performance at each of the five positions from the previous
week.

Women's
Sereane Levine
Levine has been a key part of Augsburg's 3-0 start, including two
victories over teams picked in the top four of the MIAC's preseason
poll -- a 61-50 win over St. Benedict last Wednesday and a 62-41
win over Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday. Augsburg was picked to
finish 12th of 12. In Augsburg's win at St. Benedict -- breaking a
50-game, 25-season losing streak to the Blazers -- Levine had 17
points, four rebounds and six steals. In the Auggies' win over
Concordia, Levine fell one assist shy of a triple-double, with 12
points, 13 rebounds, nine assists and five steals.
Madison Slagle
Slagle led Oneonta in scoring in a 3-0 week, scoring 19.3 points
and averaging 5.3 rebounds per game. She was 8-for-22 from
three-point range.
Shamika Singleton
Singleton averaged 21 points and six rebounds per game, which were
both team highs, while shooting 52.6 percent from the field, 66.7
percent from long range and 75 percent from the line. Singleton
first helped the Tornados rally from 15 points down to defeat
Texas-Tyler on the road, 76-65, by scoring 20 of her 26 points in
the second half. Despite logging in just 16 minutes of playing time
in a 29-point win over LeTourneau, Singleton still managed to put
up a team-leading 16 points on 58.3 percent shooting from the field
and 50 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
Claire Baecher
Baecher had a career-high 25 points in a win against Bridgewater
State and nine blocks vs. Daemen, her second nine-block game of the
season. She averaged 22.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.0 blocks.
Devin Shea
Shea posted career-best totals of 30 points and 15 rebounds in win
over Cortland, the first 30-point/15-rebound game ever by a Bomber.
Her three blocked shots raised her career total to 49. She averaged
21.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals while shooting 16-for-23
from the floor.
Men's
Matt Addison
Addison averaged 28.3 points per game over three games and also
averaged almost seven assists per game. He shot 53.3 percent from
the field, including 46 percent from three-point range. He also
held UTD point guard Grag Chaison scoreless as the Cowboys routed
usual league contender 80-58 on the road. He tied a career-high
with 38 points at Ozarks. He scored eight straight points to seal
the game with a layup and two three-pointers as it went from a
71-70 game to 79-70.
Markeith Wilson
Wilson averaged 28.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists for the
week, in which Rust split two games against NAIA programs. He
scored 41 points in a 97-88 win against Blue Mountain, shooting
8-for-16 from three-point range and 13-for-23 from the floor.
Harris Wichard
Wichard averaged 23.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in a 2-1
week for the Hawks. He scored 22 points in New Paltz's 83-70
home-opening win over Vassar and completed the double-double with
10 rebounds. Wichard had a career-high-tying 27 points in a 75-58
win over previously unbeaten Fredonia State in the SUNYAC opener
for both teams and added 11 rebounds for his second double-double
of the week. He finished out his week with a 21-point effort in an
89-83 setback against No. 16 Buffalo State, adding six boards and
five assists to his line.
Anthony Gittens
Gittens was one rebound short of his second double-double of the
season in a 67-61 win against Pacific. He was 6-for-6 from the
floor and 4-for-4 from the line. Scored 17 points against
Willamette to finish the week with 16.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per
game to go with three blocks.
Cory Polta
Opening MIAC play on Wednesday, Polta scored 11 points with nine
rebounds, a block and a steal in Augsburg's 60-45 victory over St.
John's. In Saturday's 75-59 win over Concordia-Moorhead, Polta
scored a career-high 27 points and claimed his eighth career
double-double with 10 rebounds. He shot 15-for-22 from the floor
and 8-for-9 from the line for the week.
