It's D-III's Maui
What started as an idea after the demise of Pride of Maryland Tournament became a national showcase that debuted to rave reviews. Plus, UW-Stevens Point made big noise early.

Why play the Hoopsville Classic?
Each of the eight coaches offered variations of the same theme, of why they decided to start their season at the inaugural Hoopsville National Invitational Classic.

Hoopsville Classic
Stevenson is trying to get ready for life in the MAC Commonwealth, while Mass-Boston's Miami import is liking life in New England. More from Day 2 of the Hoopsville Classic.

Catholic fires Hoopsville Classic's first shot
The Cardinals served early notice of their legitimacy by reeling off 21 straight points, holding No. 16 Transylvania pointless for more than 14 minutes before producing a 67-41 victory.

Looking forward to basketball
For most of us at D3hoops.com, this week's season tipoff is a time to rejoice at the return of our favorite sport. But for Goucher's Damon Brooks, who was paralyzed last spring, this is a season that starts without him.

Makings of a Classic
Stevenson will host the inaugural Hoopsville National Invitational Classic featuring eight teams from five regions.
