Baruch 84, John Jay 25New York, NY - — The Baruch women’s basketball team jumped out an 25-5 lead and never looked back on their way to a 84-25 conference victory against John Jay College on Faculty/Staff night in the ARC Arena.
Baruch (5-1, 1-1 CUNYAC) led 41-15 at halftime and kept increasing their lead throughout the second half as every player saw action. Chiresse Paradise scored 22 points (11-15 FG) and Jessenia Marrero added 17 points (7-13 FG) and five steals. Julianne Dixon scored six points and hauled down 11 rebounds for John Jay (2-4, 1-1 CUNYAC). Baruch will return to action on Thursday with a conference road game scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at CCNY.
