Angie Peterson scored 14 points to lead Gustavus (16-5, 14-3 MIAC) past Macalester 73-58 Wednesday night in St. Paul. The Gusties jumped out to a 45-27 halftime lead, with Peterson scoring 11 of her 14 points in the period.
Peterson was joined in double figures by Bri Monahan with 12 points, Kristin Kachelmyer with 11 and Jennifer Klohs with 10. Sara Boldt dished out five assists.
Afton Hanson scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Macalester (0-20, 0-17 MIAC). Teammate Sarah Jacoby produced 12 points and 10 boards, while Hannah Radant added 10 points.
