Baruch 66, Brooklyn 46

Brooklyn, NY - — Baruch defeated the Brooklyn College Bridges Saturday afternoon 66-46 in a CUNYAC league game.

Baruch (12-12, 8-5) led by three points at halftime (23-20) and started the second half on a 22-2 run for the victory as they clinched the number four seed in next weekend's CUNYAC basketball tournament at York College. Time and exact opponents are TBD.

Freshmen Alexandra Stamatiades led Baruch with 17 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Diane Ramirez scored 13 points, five rebounds, six assists, and six steals, while Jessenia Marrero added 11 points and four steals.

Rebecca Powers led the Bridges (5-19, 2-11) with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Baruch will play their final regular season home game Monday night against SUNY-Purchase. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the ARC.
