Staten Island 60, Lehman 32Bronx, NY — Melissa Escalera scored 17 points, and grabbed 15 rebounds, while freshman Shatasia Little scored 10 points, but it wasn’t enough as Lehman College was defeated 60-32 by the College of Staten Island.
The Lightning battled early, fighting out to a 14-12 lead, but the Dolphins of Staten Island went on to finish the first half on an 18-0 run to take a commanding 32-12 lead at the half. Junior center Jacclyn Rock finished the game with 17 points, while grabbing 22 rebounds, and sophomore Kim Thompson led the Dolphins with 20 points.
