Baruch scored the first seven points of the game and jumped out to a 29-10 lead with 8:50 remaining in the first half. They led by as many as 24 points (34-10) before Gallaudet made a late run to cut the deficit to 17 points at halftime.
Baruch's lead grew to as many as 33 points twice during the second half holding the visiting Bisons to 35 percent shooting (17-49) and 32 total turnovers.
Charity Sanders was the stand out for Gallaudet finishing with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Jill Angney, who scored 29 points in the first round win against SUNY-Potsdam, struggled shooting 3-11 and scored only nine points.
Paradise, a freshman from Chicago, was named the Tournament MVP as she scored a tournament total 42 points, 13 rebounds, and six steals.
Teammates Jessenia Marrero (27 points) and Ally Stamatiades (24 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, four steals) were named to the All-Tournament Team. Kara Miller (41 points, 14 rebounds) of SUNY-Potsdam, along with Sanders and Angney of Gallaudet, rounded out the All-Tournament Team.
In the third place game, SUNY-Potsdam defeated Lesley University of Boston by the score of 61-51. The game was tied at 46 with 5:29 remaining, but Potsdam went on a 7-0 run and Lesley was never able to recover.
Miller led Potsdam with 19 points and seven rebounds. Anya Vines was the high-scorer for Lesley with 16 points.
