Whitney made nine of 12 field goal attempts and seven of eight free throws as she reached double figures for the seventh time in eight games. Sophomore Liz Kolbe tied her season high with five three-point baskets en route to an 18-point performance.
Freshman point guard Melanie Auguste had 17 points and had a game-high 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. She also had a season-high eight assists to narrowly miss her first career triple-double.
The Eagles were led by senior forward Bec Kyba, who nailed six three-pointers and finished with a team-high 20 points. Junior guard Natalyn Cumings added 15 points, while sophomore guard Whitney Campbell finished with 11 points.
Chardon State (1-5) made 14 of 35 three-point attempts, the most by an opponent against CC this season.
Colorado College (5-3) will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when the Tigers play host to Denver’s Johnson & Wales University at 1 p.m.
