Junior Joanna Conner, who moved into No. 14 in career rebounding in the Big Blue's last contest, dished off a team-high six assists, all in the first half. She was quiet from the field in the first half, attempting no first-half shots with the exception of sinking two free throws. She finished the game with 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block. Karin Olson led Millikin with 14 points and Laura Zimmerman matched Conner's six assists. Audrey Minott led the Big Blue with three steals.
For North Park, Shandrel Young scored a game-high 16 points with Megan Slattery adding 14 and Tiffany Campbell notching 12 on four 3-pointers. Slattery grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and Laura Mount had three steals.
The Big Blue led 35-27 at the half after shooting 50 percent from the field and holding a 19-9 rebounding advantage. The team shot 48 percent in the second half en route to the win and a 49.1 percent shooting night. For the game, North Park shot 34 percent from the field, 28.6 from 3-point and 90 from the free throw line. Millikin shot 35.3 from 3-point and 75 from the charity stripe. Millikin easily won the rebounding battle, 36-22.
