Indianola, Iowa — Six Simpson players scored in double figures as Simpson defetaed Central 94-43 Feb. 2 in Indianola. The Storm were led by Ashley Bogaards who scored 12 points and had seven rebounds. Carlie Beals posted 11 while Ashley Hansen, Dana Johnson, Katelyn Whiton, and Kara DeNoon each had 10 for Simpson. For Johnson, the Storm point guard, it was a career high. She also added six steals and five assists.

Simpson scored six points in the first 43 seconds of the game and never looked back. The Storm outscored the Dutch 50-20 in the first half, allowing just eight Central field goals (8-27, 29.6%). Simpson grabbed the second most rebounds in a game in school history, 60, outrebounding the Dutch by 28 (60-32). The Storm forced 28 Central turnovers which were turned into 38 points.

Central was led by Ashley NeKola who had 14 points and eight rebounds.
