The win keeps Lawrence (17-4, 11-3 MWC) just a game behind St. Norbert College in the race for first place in the conference. The Green Knights defeated Carroll College 59-43 on Wednesday, and Lawrence travels to St. Norbert for a key game Saturday afternoon.
Felice Porrata paced Lawrence with 19 points and Claire Getzoff added 15. Emily Stengl came off the bench to add 10 points.
The Vikings were sizzling from the field in the second half, hitting 66.7 percent (20-30) of their shots on their way to shooting 59.1 percent (39-66) for the game.
Lawrence led 44-29 early in the second half, but Beloit (7-13, 5-9 MWC) went on a 17-4 run to cut that advantage to 48-46 with 15:11 left in the game.
The Vikings responded with a 9-0 run of their own. Getzoff hit a 3-pointer, Porrata scored the next four points and Maggie Miskowicz made a layup to give Lawrence a 61-48 edge.
Lawrence gradually built its lead from there and led by as many as 24 points.
Breeze Barlament paced Beloit with 14 points and Amanda Splan added 12.
