The Pipers (7-14) tallied buckets on their first four possessions of the game while forcing the Lady Lions (17-11) into three straight turnovers.
Junior forward Laurisa Ewert scoredseven of her game-high 25 points during the run. She finished the game with 25 points on 12 of 16 shooting from the field. She also grabbed 12 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season.
Hamline held the Lady Lions to 21 percent shooting (6-28) in the first half, taking a 47-15 lead at the break. They also forced Trinity Bible into 28 turnovers. Hamline shot 45 percent for the game (34-76).
Ewert led four Pipers in double figures. Junior Carolyn Korchik scored 15 points and seven rebounds in the contest. She now needs just 24 points to reach the 1,000-point barrier.
First-year Ashley Busch added 12 points and eight rebounds while sophomore Kelly Lines chipped in 11 points and six assists. Hamline outrebounded the Lady Lions 59-31 in the game.
Kayla Penfield led Trinity Bible with 12 points and seven rebounds. Rachel Fischer scored 10 points.
