Colby-Sawyer held Wentworth to just 18 percent shooting for the game, as the Leopards made just 13 shots from the field, and none of their eight three-point attempts. Colby-Sawyer, meanwhile, shot 45 percent from the floor and 31 percent from beyond the three-point line.
Kristen Sorensen (Coventry, Conn.) led all scorers with 21 points for the Chargers, while Stacey Hildreth (Winchester, N.H.) had 12 points, all in the second half, and Amy Beaton (Haverhill, Mass.) added 10.
Emily Cring (Cicero, N.Y.) led Wentworth with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Cheyenne Noble (Murrysville, Pa.) had 12 points and 13 boards.
Colby-Sawyer closes out the regular season home schedule on Tuesday when the Chargers host New England College in a Commonwealth Coast Conference match up. Tuesday's game will begin at 5:30 p.m. in New London.
