ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – Millikin placed five players in double figures and shot a sizzling .633 (19-30) in the second half to record an 80-60 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin victory on Tuesday, February 15 in Rock Island. Audrey Minott led the Big Blue, who improved to 20-2 overall and 11-1 in the league, with 13 points while Angela Vollmer had 12 and Joanna Conner 11. Karin Olson and Lindsey Koehn each scored 10. Millikin led by just a single point (20-19) with 8:23 to play in the first half but closed out the first 20 minutes with a 13-8 run to take a 33-27 halftime advantage. In the second half the Big Blue took a 10 point lead (49-39) at 12:38 and extended it to 22 (71-49) with 4:20 to go thanks to a 22-10 run. Augustana, which fell to 6-17 overall and 3-10 in the CCIW, was led in scoring by Nancy Marcum with 11 points and Kristen Pence had 10.
