ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Wheaton held Augustana to just six points for nearly 14 minutes to start the game and eventually went on to a 77-41 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin victory on Saturday afternoon at the Roy J. Carver PE Center. The Thunder held the Vikings to just .234 (15-64) shooting from the floor and forced 20 turnovers en route to winning for the 21st time in 24 games and improving its conference mark to 12-1. Jill Trenz led the Wheaton attack with 16 points and 11 rebounds while adding two assists and two steals. Brittany Cooper and Elizabeth Fox each scored 15 points. Augustana got 10 points from Kristy Pence, the only Viking to reach the double figure category. Nancy Marcum had 11 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots.
