Chicago 77, Blackburn 51

CARLINVILLE, Ill. — Nofi Mojidi scored a game-high 14 points to lead Chicago to a 77-51 win at Blackburn on Tuesday night.

Chicago (3-0) jumped out to a 17-7 lead with 9:40 left in the first half and maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the game. The Maroons led by as many as 31 points, 68-37, at the 7:10 mark.

Korry Schwanz and Susie Gutowski scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, as the Maroons opened the year 3-0 for the first time since the 2000-01 campaign.

Fourteen different players scored for Chicago.

Jackie Koerkenmeier and Michelle Woelfel paced Blackburn (0-2) with 12 points each.
