Geneseo (1-1) struggled all afternoon from three-point range (2-16), but received balance scoring with three-players in double-digits led by sophomore forward Annie Verdino (Yorktown Heights, NY/New Hyde Park) with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
Bridget Riley (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) and Amanda Haney (Sidney, NY/Sidney) both chipped in with 10 points each, while Merrissa Wilson (Buffalo, NY/Mount Mercy Academy) had seven points, five assists, and three steals.
