Mt. Vernon, Iowa — Simpson defeated Cornell 91-73 Feb. 7 in Mt. Vernon. The Storm shot 59.3% (35-for-59) for the game and outrebounded the Rams 39-19 (31-16 on the defensive glass).

Ryan Hittenmiller led Simpson with 26 points. Hittenmiller was 9-for-13 from the field. Jason Parkinson was 6-for-6 from the field and scored 16 points. Chris Allen tied his season high with 10 points. Scott Ellens scored eight point and dished out a career high eight assists.
