Jenna Freudenberg scored 15 of her game-high 18 for points in the second half for the Cobbers (18-6 overall, 15-4 MIAC), who stayed in MIAC title contention. Concordia rallied from a 29-23 halftime deficit as in the last 20:00 they made 16-of-18 at the line and shot 52% from the field.
The Cobbers will secure a top-two MIAC finish and first-round conference playoff bye with a win Saturday at home vs. Hamline.
Freshman Dee Prioleau had 13 points off the bench, junior Melissa Keiser had 11 points, and freshman Jessica Katch scored 10 points for the Tommies (9-15, 6-13), who lost their eighth in a row.
Concordia made 17-of-19 at the line on the game. Anne Keeley made 8-of-8 at the line and finished with 14 points. Tori Ehlert had eight points and 10 rebounds.
