McDaniel built a 37-20 lead by halftime. The Green Terror added a 22-6 run over an 8:14 stretch in the second half to run away with the win.
Kristy Costa and Theresa Hess shared game-highs with 18 points each for McDaniel, while Katy Powell registered 11 points and grabbed a game-high seven rebounds.
Sophomore guard Elise Conway led the Shorewomen with 11 points and five steals in the losing effort. Sophomore forward Brenda Lucas added eight points and a team-high six rebounds, while freshman forward Brianne Slizofski contributed six points and grabbed five rebounds for the Shorewomen.
McDaniel shot 45% from the field while holding the Shorewomen to just 31% shooting for the game. The Green Terror scored 30 of their points from the free throw line, knocking down 83% (30-for-36) of their attempts from the charity stripe. The Shorewomen were 6-for-9 from the line in the game. The Green Terror also held the rebounding advantage, outrebounding the Shorewomen by a margin of 43-36.
The Green Terror have now won six straight contests over the Shorewomen.
