CCNY 77, New York City Tech 68

NEW YORK, NY — The CCNY Beavers received a game high 19 points and eight rebounds from 5'11" junior guard James Boddie from Jane Adams High School in the Bronx, NY, to defeat New York City College of Technology by 77-68 at Nat Holman Gymnasium.

The win put the Beavers at 5-6 on the season and 2-2 in the CUNYAC. The Yellow Jackets fell to 3-8 and 2-2 in the conference.

The Beavers had four players who scored in double figures as they earned the win employing a balanced offense.

Andrew Mungin, a 5'11" junior guard from the Bronx and Vanguard High School had 13 points. Robert Barker, 6'5" junior forward from Brooklyn, NY and LaSalle Academy, and Andre Womack-Clarke, a 5'9" junior guard from Brooklyn and FIT added 12 and 11 points respectively.

The Beavers held a miniscule 34-33 lead at the half but out-scored the Yellow Jackets by 10 in the ensuing 20 minutes by shooting a torrid 13-23 from the floor (56.5%) while holding their opponent to only 11-29 (37.9%).

Jamaal Hall topped City Tech with 22 points. Otis Saylee had 16 points and a team high six rebounds. And Daniel Fouche contributed 14 points.
