The Vikings got a career-high 30 points from sophomore forward Kelly Mulcahy, and senior guard Claire Getzoff added a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists. Mulcahy hit 13 of 16 shots from the floor.
The Vikings also got a strong game from sophomore guard Carrie Van Groll, who finished with 16 points and hit 7 of 10 shots from the floor.
Lawrence is now 13-1, matching the best start in school history, and tied with Ripon atop the MWC at 6-1.
Crystal Hoewisch paced the Pioneers (11-2, 5-1) with 14 points, but the Carroll star was hounded by defensive stopper Jenny Stoner. Hoewisch was limited to 5 of 9 shooting on the night.
Lawrence led 34-22 at the break, but busted the game open in the second half. The Vikings went on a 15-3 run, with Mulcahy scoring eight points in that stretch, to grab a 55-34 lead with 13:05 left in the contest.
The Pioneers just couldn't seem to get any traction on offense, and Mulcahy kept punishing them on the other end of the court. Mulcahy was 7-for-7 from the field in the second half.
Lawrence led by as many as 24 points in the second half, and Carroll never got closer than 18.
Lawrence is back in action on Saturday when it travels to St. Norbert for a 4 p.m. game.
