Baruch 83, Brooklyn 59

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Chiresse Paradise (Chicago, III./Rich Central) scored a team-high 27 points to lead the Baruch Bearcats to a 83-59 conference road win on Saturday afternoon at Brooklyn College.

Paradise connected on 13-of-15 field goals to help lead the Bearcats (14-5, 9-0 CUNYAC) to their seventh consecutive victory.

Naesha Tyler-Moore (Matteson, III./Rich Central) scored 12 points and shot 5-of-7 from the field.

The Bearcats shot 52 percent (35-68) in the game.

Jaclyn Cavalcante (Brooklyn, N.Y./James Madison) led the Bridges of Brooklyn College (9-11, 3-6 CUNYAC) with 24 points.

Baruch jumped to a 38-28 halftime lead and never looked back to stay undefeated in conference play.

The women’s team will return to action this Wednesday with a conference road game at CCNY. Tip off in the Nat Holman Gymnasium is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
