Harris joins 400 win club
The Wheaton (Ill.) men’s basketball team opened the season with a 98-59 win against Kalamazoo in the Lee Pfund Classic Tournament on Friday night, as coach Bill Harris got his 400th career win in the process.
Harris has compiled a record of 400-197 in his career at two stops: King's (N.Y.) and at Wheaton. In 17 seasons at the helm of the Thunder Harris has posted a record of 272-136. Guard Kent Raymond led the Thunder with 33 points and four assists, going 9-for-14 from the field, with a 7-for-9 effort from behind the three-point arc.
