Gallaudet women lose second in a row
Catholic University routed Gallaudet 79-58 to send the Bison to their second consecutive Capital Athletic Conference loss and second overall in three games. The Bison, ranked No. 3 in the Atlantic Region, fell to 15-3 after losing at York 84-81 and Catholic.
Catholic (6-10, 2-6) was led by senior center Katie Pogge's 21 points and 10 rebounds and held preseason All-America center Ronda Miller to 19 points and tied for a career-low eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Catholic's men won their 10th straight, beating Gallaudet 90-62 to clinch the best start in the program's 86-year history at 15-3.
