No. 18 Catholic extends win streak to 12 games
WASHINGTON -- Catholic University's men improved to 17-3 and extended their winning streak to 12 games, defeating Marymount 95-64. The Cardinals, who remained a game ahead of Goucher at 10-0 in the CAC, scored the first 10 points of the game and never looked back, leading by as many as 35 points in the second half.
Junior guard Jim McNiff scored a game-high 29 points for Catholic, shooting 7-for-10 from three-point range. Marymount (9-11, 6-4 CAC) lost for only the third time in nine games.
