|Washington University is hard at work already after getting bounced in the second round by Centre last March.|
Practices started as early as 12:01 a.m. this morning, as Oct. 15 marks the official beginning of the Division III basketball season. All but a handful of conferences permit their teams to begin practice today. And for two lucky men's basketball programs, their last practice will be April 7, a walk-through in Atlanta before the national championship game.

We've been hard at work at D3hoops.com throughout the offseason and now have much more of our archive information online. For example, we've brought back the schedules and results pages back to 2006-07, and you should be able to see your team's historical results in the Past Records section on each team's page. We recommend starting with the men's standings and women's standings pages and selecting your team from there. If a 2012-13 page is missing for your team, drop us a line!
The 2012-13 men's schedules are about 95 percent in, and women's schedules are close to 90 percent, so you should be able to click through our team pages and see most of what you are looking for. Most of the missing schedules are from conferences which are new PrestoSports clients, and we welcome the Empire 8, MIAA, MIAC and UMAC to the network!
In the upcoming weeks, you can expect the D3hoops.com preseason Top 25 polls and preseason All-America teams. The D3hoops.com men's preseason Top 25 will be released first.
