Gehret Sets New Single Season Blocks Record for Lions

ALTOONA, Pa. - With his blocked shot in an 85-78 win at D'Youville College last Saturday, Penn State Altoona senior forward Matt Gehret set a new program record for number of shots blocked in a single season with 45.

Gehret passed former Lion T.J. King, who held the previous record with 44 blocks in 2000-2001.

Gehret currently has 49 blocks this year and is ranked second in all of NCAA Division III men's basketball, averaging 3.5 blocks per game.
