July 11, 2016 Lancaster retires at Aurora After 30 seasons at Aurora, including 22 as the Spartans' head men's basketball coach, James Lancaster has decided to retire from coaching. He is the latest in a line of long-time men's coaches to retire this offseason. Aurora named assistant Lance Robinson as his replacement.
November 18, 2015 Aurora men's basketball makes key addition for 2015-2016 season The Aurora University men's basketball team Head Coach James Lancaster and his staff made a very important addition to their roster leading up to the 2015–2016 season. Lancaster and his Spartans welcomed Charlie Bartzen into the AU family, and the Spartans cannot be more excited for the addition.
