(January 6, 2018) – Led by a career effort from junior guard Mikey Pettway (Bridgeport, Conn.), the Western New England University men's basketball team knocked off Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) preseason favorite and No. 21 nationally ranked Nichols College 100-94 in overtime on Saturday at the Nichols Athletic Center.

With its first home win of the season, Western New England improves to 5-11 overall and 3-6 in the CCC. The Seahawks drop to 4-12 overall and 1-8 in the conference.

January 11, 2014 Golden Bears Hang On to Topple Eastern Nazarene from First Place in the CCC, 79-76 SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--The Western New England University men's basketball team picked up its first Commonwealth Coast Conference victory in a big way on Saturday afternoon by edging visiting Eastern Nazarene College, 79-76, at the Alumni Healthful Living Center. The Golden Bears snap a six-game losing streak to improve to 3-9 overall and 1-5 in the CCC. With the loss, the Lions (10-2, 4-2) were knocked from atop the CCC standings and now sit in second place with four other teams one game behind co-leaders Endicott and Nichols colleges, which both won today.
