Julie Robertson
Robertson averaged 16 points and 8.5 rebounds as she led the Lady Crusaders
to a 2-0 record last week. She just missed a triple-double on Saturday
with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.
Morgan Bahe
Bahe shot 64% from the floor (16-for-25)
and 50% from three-point range (5-for-10) in helping Benedictine to a
2-0 start in the NIIC. On Jan. 9 she recorded the first triple-double
of her career with 10 assists, 10 rebounds and 16 points, following that
up with a 26-point performance later in the week.
Michelle Stover
Stover averaged 19 points while averaging only 15 minutes of action this
week as the Storm won all three games they played. She shot 71% from the
floor (22-for-31) and was perfect in 13 foul shots. She is closing in
on the 1,000 career point plateau (898) while averaging 13.8 points in
only 18.1 minutes for her career.
Kendra Anderson
Anderson was 13-for-13 against Howard
Payne before two misses in the final 10 seconds of the game. She finished
with 26 points and 11 rebounds. She had 16 points and 16 rebounds in a
road win at Sul Ross State. Both wins on the road give the Cowgirls a
three-game winning streak after losing four in a row.
Kathy Darling
Darling averaged
23.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as the women's basketball team extended its
NJAC win streak to five games. In a 80-59 win at William Paterson on Jan.
10, Darling scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds. She made nine field
goals in 10 attempts and hit three of six free throws. Against NJCU, Darling
scored 26 points in a 110-78 victory. She was 9-for-12 from the field
and 8-for-13 at the free throw line. Darling shot 81.8% from the field
in the two games.
Corey Dickerson
Dickerson became King's all-time leading
scorer by averaging 29 points per game over two games. Dickerson had 25
points in a 74-58 road win at Drew, then added a seaosn-high 33 in a 82-65
victory over DeSales. In the process, he broke King's career scoring mark
of 1,670 points. Entering the DeSales game, he needed 31 points to break
the record and finished with 33, setting the mark on a long three-point
bomb with just under six minutes remaining.
Dustin Tylka
Scored a career-high 35 points, including
six-of-eight three-pointers, in a 79-73 win against No. 4 Chicago on Jan.
12. Scored 25 points with six rebounds against MacMurray. Hit 50% from
three-point range on the week.
Alex Wilson
Wilson led Bates to a 3-0 week that extended its winning streak to seven
games, tying 52-53 team for longest in school history. He scored 16 points
with a career-high 15 rebounds in a 99-64 win over Eastern Nazarene, Bates'
biggest win since December 1998. He added 22 points and seven rebounds
in a 75-58 win against Southern Maine and 15 points with a game-high 11
rebounds in Bates' 75-69 win at Colby, their first in Waterville since
the 1995-96 season.
Corey Grace
Grace shot 19-for-29 from the field in two games, averaging 28.5 points,
11.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots per game for Thomas More.
Kyle Williford
The junior shot 22-for-42 from the
floor and 16-for-22 from the line in three games for Brigdewater. Williford
also pulled down 43 rebounds in the three games, adding eight assists
and nine blocked shots.
