Kessler led the Spartans to a perfect 3-0 record last week, averaging
just over 20 points, six rebounds and six assists per game. The junior
hit 15 of 16 attempts from the charity stripe.
Annie Sral
Sral set a career-high, tied a single-game school record, and became only
the second female basketball player in school history to reach 1,000 points
by scoring 30 points in a 92-85 overtime victory against Bethany. Sral
averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 steals, and five assists in two games.
Tracey
Little
Little helped FSU to a 2-1 week by averaging 24.3 points, 10.0 rebounds,
1.3 assists and 1.3 blocks. She posted her fourth double-double of the
year for the Bobcats, missing only four of 22 chances at the foul line.
Amanda
Pilcher
The senior for the Storm averaged 18.3 points and 8.3 rebounds for the
week. Her 16 free throw attempts against Waldorf on Dec. 5 were the second
most in school history.
Kelley
Richardson
Richardson averaged 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game
while shooting 14-of-19 from the field in the two games She also had 24
points and 13 rebounds in the team's other game this week.
Jason
Kalsow
The junior knocked down 23 points per game and corralling 10.1 rebounds
per contest in the Pointers’ three games last week. Kalsow led UWSP
to wins over key conference rival UW-River Falls and Carroll.
Samar
Battle
In a 2-0 week for the Gothic Knights, senior guard Samar Battle averaged
26.5 points per game, shot 64.7% from the field, and grabbed 7.0 rebounds,
adding 3.0 steals, 2.0 blocks, and 1.5 assists per game in the same week
he joined the New Jersey City 1,000-point club.
Russ
Churchwell
Churchwell was a machine for the Petrels, hitting at a rate of 32.6 points
and six rebounds per game, including a win over previously undefeated
Puget Sound.
Tyler
Schulz
Schulz averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks in two games for
Ithaca. He scored 24 points on 12-of-16 shooting in an 81-64 win over
Hobart.
Julius
Hobert
The Nighthawks had only one game last week, Julius Hobert made it count.
The sophomore scored 37 points, pulled down 15 rebounds, got up for six
blocks, and dished four assists.
