Ian McCormick
McCormick posted the first Swarthmore triple-double since 2004, followed by
his 21st career double-double. He averaged 17.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and
7.5 blocks in a pair of road losses this week, including a 16-point, 14-rebound and 10-block effort at McDaniel and 19 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks at Johns Hopkins.
Jeremiah Lawrence
Lawrence helped the Hornets to wins over Otterbein, Delaware Valley, and
Lycoming, to extend their winning streak to five games. He averaged
19.7 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks, doing most of his damage from
the free
throw line, hitting 17-of-22.
Tyler Nading
Nading averaged 24 points and seven rebounds per game, and shot 74.1 percent (20-for-27) from the field, en route to earning the Robert L. Burnes Most
Valuable Player honor of the 24th Annual Lopata Classic.
Brad Johnson
Johnson averaged 17.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as Illinois College posted a perfect 3-0 mark last week. He had his best all-around performance of the year in a 89-76 win over Ripon, tallying a team-high 24 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Zachary Gordon
After a 17-point, nine rebound effort during a close loss to Maritime on Monday, Gordon exploded for 27 points and nine rebounds during a win over
Polytechnic on Thursday. On Sunday, he scored 26 points, grabbed eight
rebounds, and blocked a career-high six shots as YU rallied for an overtime
win over Bard.
Women's Tamika Curtis
In three games last week, Curtis averaged 28.3 points, 14.7 rebounds,
1.7 blocks, and two steals. She also shot a blistering
69.8% (30-of-43) from the floor.
Jessica McEntee
McEntee tallied a career-high 38 points and grabbed 19 rebounds while going
a school single-game record 20-for-21 at the charity stripe in an 87-82 victory over New Paltz State. She had a first-half double-double (15 points,
10 rebounds, 9-for-10 free throws) and grabbed eight offensive boards.
Colleen Feeney
Feeney averaged 24 points, 14 rebounds and three blocked shots a game while
shooting 60-percent from the floor as she led the Bears to a pair of wins
over Curry and Babson last week.
Amber Bodrick
Bodrick scored a season-high 34 points in a 69-57 win against
Waynesburg, and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds in their 63-54 victory
over Hiram. She averaged 29 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, and
2.5blocks on the 2-0 week.
Shadae Swan
Swan led her team in scoring for every game during 3-0 week, with a 34-point
performance in an 81-69 win over Christopher Newport, 26 points in 66-50 win
over Hood, and 21 points in 80-56 win over Trinity (D.C.). She shot
63.2% from the floor, hit eight of her 12 three pointers, and made all
but one of her 12 free throws.
