December 29, 2017 Friday: Feeling better than just Albright Albright scored the biggest upset of the Division III women's basketball season to date as the Lions knocked off top-ranked and undefeated Tufts, 62-59. On the men's side, Augustana impressed, York (Pa.) thrilled and Marietta ground out a win in Top 25 battles.
March 3, 2017 Albright Advances in NCAA Women's Tournament With Opening-Round Win Over Piedmont Devan Horka paced Albright with 16 points and 18 rebounds.
February 18, 2017 Saturday women: This time it's Trine Trine won its first MIAA women's basketball title the hard way, by beating Hope in DeVos Fieldhouse. Four more teams joined Amherst in completing perfect regular seasons while Albright swept Messiah and Catholic edged Moravian. That and more in today's women's recap.
January 14, 2017 Saturday women: Perfect 10 We entered Saturday with 14 undefeated teams in Division III women's basketball and we leave the day with just ten. No. 18 Puget Sound edged No. 16 Whitman in a thriller while Montclair State, Trinity (Texas) and Messiah also picked up their first loss.
November 30, 2016 Wednesday: Hot benches help Hope, Lions Hope and Albright opened conference play with big wins thanks to big nights from their reserves while Katie McDaniels had another great night for Wheaton at Chicago. In men's action No. 19 Salisbury won its conference opener while No. 22 Mount St. Joseph fell to Anderson.
