Randy Ognibene: Out at Mount St. Mary. Rebecca Tyler: In as interim at Bryn Mawr.

After 606 career wins, Randy Ognibene is out as head women's basketball coach at Mount St. Mary, replaced by a men's basketball assistant. The Knights' release announcing the hiring of Michael Coppolino makes no mention of Ognibene, who is the only varsity women's basketball coach in the school's recorded athletics history.

Athletic director John Wright told the Times Herald-Record that "the college doesn't comment on personnel matters."

Ognibene was sixth among active Division III women's basketball coaches in career wins, with 606. He led the Knights to 13 consecutive NCAA Tournaments, a streak which ended last season.

Coppolino has two years' experience as a men's basketball assistant coach.

At Bryn Mawr, the basketball program has just 14 games scheduled and Deb Charamella is out as head coach after what appears to be described as low roster numbers plague the program.

The Owls will only play half of their Centennial Conference schedule, and games will not count in the conference standings. In fact, with fewer than the 18 minimum games required by NCAA Division III rules, it's not clear if Bryn Mawr's games will count at all.

Rebecca Tyler, a Widener grad and a three-year assistant coach at Widener, will be taking over as Bryn Mawr head coach on an interim basis.
