The Raiders held Marian to 19 points in the second half as MSOE beat the Sabres 61-51 Saturday at the Kern Center. Senior forward Austin Meier scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Meier logged his fourth double-double of the year.

MSOE went on a 9-0 run with 6:16 left in the game to take a 56-45 lead and the Raiders held on from there to secure the NAC victory. Three-pointers by senior guard Bennett Deacon and junior guard Oren Bloom highlighted that run. Deacon scored nine points in the game while Bloom had eight. Sophomore Victor Bande had nine points off the bench for the Raiders.

Monday, the Raiders (7-1, 2-1 NAC) head to Illinois to face North Park at 7 p.m. for a non-conference game.
