CHICAGO -- Playing its final home game in calendar year 2011, the University of Chicago men's basketball team dropped an 84-63 decision to Illinois Wesleyan University Saturday at the Ratner Athletics Center.

• Illinois Wesleyan (6-2) outshot the Maroons 53% to 27% from the floor in the first half en route to building a 43-24 lead at the break.
