#10 Wesley Clinches Top Seed in CAC Tourney

YORK, Pa. – With yesterday's victory at No. 13 Mary Washington, the tenth-ranked Wesley College men's basketball team has clinched the top seed in the 2013 Capital Athletic Conference Tournament to be held February 25-March 1. 

The Wolverines (20-2, 12-2 CAC) will have a first round bye and host a conference semifinal game against the winner of the No. 4 and No. 5 seed game on February 27. Should Wesley earn victory in the Semifinals, it will also host the Conference Championship Game on March 1 and the winner of the Tournament will earn the CAC's automatic bid into the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

All tickets will be $5 for the CAC Tournament.

The Wolverines, who have tied a program-record for wins in a single season, close out the regular season with a pair of home games next week, starting with Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday, February 19 at 8 pm.  Three days later, Wesley hosts St. Mary's on February 22 at 3 pm. Prior to the game against the Seahawks, the Wolverines will honor its three seniors, Brandin Youngblood, David Langan and Eric Selby, in a pregame ceremony.
