WORCESTER, Mass. – The Nichols College men's basketball team scrimmaged Division I College of the Holy Cross Sunday afternoon at the Hart Center. The Crusaders defeated the Bison 101-70.

Junior captain Irving Eggleston (East Lyme, Conn.) paced the Bison with 16 points to go along with rebounds, two assists and two steals. Classmate Gustave Koumare (Harlem, N.H.) netted 13 points, junior Christian Horton (Rutland, Mass.) registered nine points, six rebounds and four assists while freshman Louis Lawson (Bloomfield, Conn.) had eight points and four rebounds.

Nichols was 24-of-62 from the field (44 percent) and was outrebounded 41-31. Cullen Hamilton led four Crusaders in double-figures with 16 points.

The Bison (2-2) host Husson Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Nichols Athletic Center.
