This marks the third consecutive season that seen Baruch will open up against a major Division I program (Rutgers in 2014, Seton Hall 2015).

"We are excited to kick off the season with St. John's," said Alesi.  "This game will be a great experience for our program, our fans and our whole community.  It will be a very demanding test early on and we hope it gets us going in the right direction."

The official season kicks off on Tuesday, November 15th at 7:30pm, with a home tilt against Birmingham-Southern College from the Southern Athletic Association.  The Panthers finished last season with an overall record of 23-7 and had an undefeated conference record while advancing to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The Bearcats then head to Buffalo, NY for the WNY Knee and Orthopedic Surgery Tournament, hosted by Medaille College on November 18th and 19th . Alesi and the Bearcats will face Goucher College in the opening round with either Medaille or Utica in their second game.

The annual fan favorite Battle of Lexington will also take place against Brooklyn College at home in the ARC Arena on Thursday, February 2th, at 7:30pm.

"I am very happy with the quality of our schedule this season," said Alesi. "Each year our goal is to find the right mix of teams to both challenge us on the court and to prepare us for a challenging conference schedule. There are some great teams in our region and our goal is to be playing our best in February and March.  We feel this schedule will help us do that."
