Benedictine led the entire game, storming out of the gates
Benedictine scored the first six points of the contest and led by double figures at 13-3 following a three from Michael Blaszczyk just over three minutes into the game
A layup from Adam Reynolds with 8:44 left in the half gave Benedictine a 26-15 lead
The team led for double figures for the remainder of the opening 20 minutes
Brayden Olson splashed home a three-pointer with 2:23 remaining to hand Benedictine the largest lead of the half at 43-27

Blaszczyk opened the second half with a jumper before Wisconsin Lutheran ripped off 10 straight, pulling within 48-42
Reynolds converted on a conventional three-point play to kick start a 9-0 run to counter, making the score 57-42 just over five minutes into the second

Tahron Harvey drained a three-pointer immediately and Benedictine led by double digits the rest of the way

FROM THE COACH
"We played well on both ends of the floor in the first half," said head coach Keith Bunkenburg. "We did not start the second half well and got outrebounded. We need to keep up the intensity for all forty minutes. The result was still a great win, especially on the road."

STAT LEADERS
Four players reached double figures in the victory
Reynolds tallied a season high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting while adding four rebounds and four assists
Harvey finished with 20 points in his sixth 20+ showing of the year including each of the last two contests
Harvey added a team best nine rebounds, but Wisconsin Lutheran held a 40-35 edge, just the third team to outrebound Benedictine this year
Blaszczyk tallied 18 with six assists while Olson notched 12 and Matt Chaltin collected nine, all on three-pointers
Benedictine shot over 50 percent in each half and finished the game at 52.5 percent while dishing 20 assists and making 12 triples
