The Baruch College Bearcats defeated the Hawks of Hunter College, 80-50, in a CUNYAC contest on Wednesday night at the Hunter College Sportsplex uptown.

Outside of the opening minutes, the visiting Bearcats led throughout building a 38-16 halftime lead and going up by as much as 41 points in the second half.

They finished shooting 53 percent (31-59) and connected on 13 three-pointers.  
 
With the result, they even their season record at 8-8 and 5-3 overall in the CUNYAC. 

Chimaechi Ekekeugbor led the way with 17 points. William Sixsmith had 16, Andre Harris 13, and Matthew Bantis notched a career-high 11 points (4-4 fg).

Abraham Rosow was tops for the hosts with 12 points.
