Baruch Wins 13th Straight Home Game, Defeat York

The Baruch College Bearcats won their 13th straight home game by defeating the Cardinals of York College, 68-53, on Thursday night.

The Bearcats blew open a competitive home contest in the final 11 minutes. They were up 43-39, but took control by scoring 13 of the next 18 points to lead 56-40 with 7:43 left.

They built on their momentum and eventually led by as much as 20 points (68-48) with a little over 2 minutes remaining to improve to 11-1 in the CUNYAC standings.

Both teams struggled from beyond the arc, but the Bearcats' defense limited the Cardinals to 29 percent shooting in the first half. They also won the battle of the boards (45-36), which included grabbing 10 offensive rebounds in the final stretch of the game.

Andre Harris had another double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Bryler Paige tallied 12 points.

Darin Dove led the visitors with 14 points.
