Gents Continue Winning Ways With 74-51 Victory On Friday At Hendrix

Conway, Ark. - The Centenary men's basketball team stretched its season-high winning streak to four with a convincing 74-51 victory over the Hendrix College Warriors on Friday evening in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game inside Grove Gymnasium.

The Gents (8-12, 6-5 SCAC) took a 39-19 halftime lead over the Warriors (1-19, 1-10 SCAC) and cruised to the win. Centenary, which started the season 1-9, has won six of its last eight overall and improved to 4-6 on the road. Hendrix lost its 10th straight and remained winless (0-9) at home this season.

Centenary will wrap up the weekend on Saturday versus the University of the Ozarks Eagles (3-17, 2-9 SCAC) at 4 PM in Clarksville, Ark.
