The New York University women's basketball program announced that seven student-athletes will join the Violets as freshmen for the 2013-14 season.

"Our staff is excited about the incoming class of freshmen," said Head Coach Lauren Hall-Gregory. "Overall, the group adds depth and size to the roster. These young women are committed student-athletes who we identified in the recruiting process as winners on and off the basketball court. We believe they are an excellent complement to the talented returners from this year's team."
