December 10, 2022 ETBU Leads Entire Game Upsetting #24 UMHB MARSHALL, Texas – Leading from start to finish over #24 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, East Texas Baptist University shocked the Crusaders, 72-64, to stay perfect in the American Southwest Conference. ETBU is now 7-1 on the year and 4-0 in the ASC. It is the second time in a year that ETBU has upset nationally ranked UMHB winning last year in Marshall, 81-72, when the Cru was ranked 17th.

January 9, 2020 @ETBU_MBSK Stays Perfect in ASC Play Upending UTD MARSHALL, Texas – Coming from behind again this season posting a 26-6 run midway through the second half, the East Texas Baptist University men's basketball team erased 15-point first-half deficit over the University of Texas Dallas to stay undefeated in the American Southwest Conference East Division, 83-74. This is the first win in seven games against the Comets dating back to 2016 and puts ETBU at 10-2 and in first place in the ASC East at 3-0
