November 29, 2016 RC Men's Basketball Game at Greensboro Suspended The Men's Basketball game between Roanoke and Greensboro was suspended with 14:34 left in the second-half due to slippery conditions. No plans as to when the game will be completed are available at this time. The Maroons were leading 57-53 at the stoppage.
November 18, 2016 RC Men's Hoops Opens Season with 78-60 Win over Worcester State John Caldwell led four Roanoke players in double-figures as the Maroons topped Worcester State 78-60 Friday night in the first round of the Dick Leftwhich Classic in Salem.

April 21, 2016 Roanoke nabs Nunley Roanoke named Randolph College coach Clay Nunley as its new head coach, replacing Page Moir who retired after 27 seasons. Nunley had led the WildCats' program from its inception in 2007.
