December 11, 2019 Southern Virginia leaving CAC The Capital Athletic Conference loses another member, as Southern Virginia University moves to the USA South for all sports. That means that, effective the fall of 2021, the USAC will have 19 member schools.

April 17, 2019 Salisbury brings Williams back to lead program Salisbury hired former assistant Maurice Williams as its new head men's basketball coach. Williams was an assistant on the 2015 Sea Gulls team that won the CAC title.
