April 25, 2019 Woodruff leaving Lady Royals Trevor Woodruff, who led Scranton to the 2019 national semifinals, is leaving Division III to become the next head coach at Division I Bucknell. He is the third D-III women's head coach to take a Division I job this offseason.

March 15, 2019 No. 9 Lady Royals Fall Just Short in National Semifinal Clash with No. 1 Thomas More, 69-56 SALEM, VA. - The ninth-ranked University of Scranton women's basketball team fought hard all night long, but in the end, came up just short, as top-ranked Thomas More rallied in the fourth quarter to take a 69-56 victory over the Lady Royals in the 2019 NCAA Division III National Semifinals on Friday night in the Cregger Center on the campus of Roanoke College.
